This would be a great question for your vet.

Your dog has a 50/50 chance of developing it.

There is a 50% chance of a parent passing on the gene to their offspring.

The chances of this dog having epilepsy are 1:4. Specific genes usually skip a generation (for example; red hair from the grandmother to the grandchild, not from the father).
Course, I could be wrong, but if you’re really concerned, you can always take it to the vet to get it checked out.
Best regards :/

Any dog can get epilepsy but if it was seen in the father then more than likely a few of the pups will get it also. The important thing to remember is that if a seizure happens two or more times a day, if the dog does not completely come out of one seizure before going into another or if they last 7-10 minutes youj need to seek emergency care. If seizures are infrequent there is nothing that they do, more frequent seizures require medication. If the dog does have seizure just keep him safe from harm. There is no need to put anything in his mouth and there is nothing you can do at the time but keep him comfortable until he comes out of it.
